t is our mission to help our students become successful and to assist them in reaching their potential.  Building relationships with our students/families and maintaining sound two-way communication between the home and school are vital to this endeavor.  It is also essential that our parents have easy access to all information that the school offers so that they can make informed educational decisions with their children.

On the website, you will find essential information for parents and students for the school year.  From the site you will be able to access staff emails, special announcements, guidance information, athletic schedules, and more.  It is my desire to have a safe and productive year where the Kalamazoo Central High School Community works together to achieve greatness.

Students, all cafeteria lunch tabs need to be paid as soon as possible.


Book Club will be meeting Tuesday (3/21) from 2:30-3:30 in room 238.


The library media center will be closed today for principal meetings, including during lunch.  


Students if you signed up to attend the Cesar Chavez March you must turn in your permission slip and t-shirt money to Mr. LaBudda in room 548, or your teachers, by Monday (3/20) by noon. There will be no exceptions. 


Magic the Gathering game club meets after school today at 2:30 in room 342.

Seniors who will get the Kalamazoo Promise scholarship: When you know for sure you will be attending KVCC or Western, your next step is to meet with your Promise contact at your college to complete the Kalamazoo Promise acceptance form. Contact information is available in the counseling office.

Our men’s basketball team will continue their run to the Breslin with a quarter final game on Tuesday at 7pm at East Lansing’s field house. The $6 tickets will be for sale in the athletic office on Thursday and Monday and in front of the main office on Friday. KC students, if you want to ride the student fan bus, purchase your $6 ticket, grab a permission slip and we’ll put your name on the fan bus list.
