Chartwells School Dining Services provides Kalamazoo Public Schools with an appealing and nutritionally sound child-nutrition program. Chartwells has been committed to adding more Balanced Choice meals and better-for-you snacks; adding more fresh fruits and vegetables options to menus at all grade levels; and offering "super food" choices regularly on the menu. They serve more than 11,500 meals at 25 schools/locations at KPS: 17 elementary schools, four middle schools, three high schools, the Alternative Learning Program, and several programs in the Community Education Center.
