Grolier Online resources are available to all KPS students and their families. If you are not at school, you will need to use the username: kpsd and the password: kpsd to access the program.
Kalamazoo Public Library offers great programs and resources for children, 553-7804, and teens, 553-7807. Students in grades 4-12 can get Live Homework Help from certified tutors through the library's site, www.kpl.gov , from 3-10 pm daily, 365 days a year.

The Internet Public Library (IPL) began in a graduate seminar in the School of Information and Library Studies at the University of Michigan in the Winter 1995 semester. The idea was twofold: (1) to ask some interesting and important questions about the interconnections of libraries, librarians, and librarianship with a distributed networked environment, and (2) to learn a lot about these issues by actually designing and building something called the Internet Public Library.
